November 18th 2011 saw Dr Lucie Green of the renowned Mullard Space Laboratory in Surrey giving a talk to the society. The talk was hosted at the Meole Brace School Science College.
Like the previous guest speaker meeting this was an extremely well attended talk that sparked a lot of interest from a wide range of people and age groups. It was a fine presentation and she handled a long and challenging question and answer session with the diverse audience admirably.

She has since emailed us to tell us she enjoyed her visit to Shropshire. Presumably the lively interested audience during the Q&A session and during the refreshments afterwards helped.
