Semiconductor and Integrated OptoElectronics (SIOE) Conference
SIOE (or "show" in Welsh) is an annual conference held in Cardiff (usually in the week before easter) and organised by the School Of Electrical Engineering in Bangor and the School of Physics and Astronomy in Cardiff.
The conference aims to provide an informal atmosphere for the discussion of research in semiconductor opto-electronics. A special interest of the meeting is the design, fabrication and applications of semiconductor opto-electronic circuits. To preserve the informality of the meeting, attendance is normally limited to about 100.
